Dr. Janet Boyes

Dr. Janet Boyes joined the West Side Dental family in the summer of 2024. She is an alumna of Luther College (’09) and is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics (’14). Dr. Boyes worked as the Dental Director and dentist of the Community Health Center of Fort Dodge from 2014-2015 before moving to Spirit Lake and purchasing her own dental practice. Dr. Boyes has spent the last 9 years working as a dentist in Spirit Lake as both a sole practitioner and as an associate in a group practice.

Dr. Boyes maintains her certification as a CEREC® doctor (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) and is also a preferred provider for Invisalign® clear orthodontic aligners.

Dr. Boyes maintains the following memberships and associations:

  • Dubuque Regional Dental Association
  • Iowa Academy of General Dentistry
  • NE Iowa Dental Study Club

Originally from Clear Lake, IA, she and her family recently moved to the Decorah area. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Boyes and her husband, Seth, and their daughters, Gwen and Lena love spending quality time with friends and family. They are looking forward to living in the Decorah community and exploring all that it has to offer!
